hi ..was thinking about a separate account for a long time.. since my first experiences with DA ..i have enjoyed myself from day one! but i really really wanted a page set up just for bats, my love of drawing , and photographing my collection of bats.. i someday hope to get a few terrific photo shots of them..have missed a few opportunities to get a picture of small brown bats...DID NOT HAVE CAMERA WITH ME >>GGGRRRR so here i am ..hoping someone else loves the bat , and its dark side.. here is who i am during the daylight

Bats, eh? Sometimes, when it tickles our fancy, a few of us treck down to Carlsbad Caverns (Only about a 3 hour drive) and occasionally, we'll see the bats. They're quite interesting bats at that. It's not too fun when you're sliding your hand along the rail while walking down into the caves, and your hand gets smeared with bat poop (Guano?), but it's quite alright. In any case, I think bats are quite interesting creatures, and I don't see why people act so afraid of them at times. Personally, I'd be more afraid of a scorption, or something equally as lethal.

yes , bats are very gentle, social animals.mostly misunderstood.
but ive been collecting bat items for many years..most recently got a pewter bat with ruby eyes! she is so cool! I saw my first bat of the season a week ago...I hope they will use the bat house I have out! if I can snag a picture will post it right away! thanks again..love making new friends
